The Texas Social Studies Supervisors Association (TSSSA) is a nonprofit organization comprised of social studies professionals who serve in supervisory roles, such as curriculum directors, social studies specialists, department chairs, assistant principals, or university faculty. TSSSA promotes the professional development of socials studies supervisors as leaders in curriculum, instruction teacher training, research, and civic engagement. TSSSA is an affiliate of the National Social Studies Supervisors Association.
